(ĐN)- Dong Nai exported around 157,000 tonnes of coffee in the first seven months of this year, earning nearly US$336 million, the highest volume and value in 5 years, according to Department of Industry and Trade.
The figures represented increases of over 80 percent in volume and 77 percent in value compared to the same period last year.
In July alone, coffee export was estimated at 22,000 tonnes worth US$44.6 million.
The average price for Dong Nai’s coffee for the January-July period was more than US$2,000 per tonne.
Germany, the US, Belgian, Swiss and Philippines are largest markets for Dong Nai’s coffee.
