The reporters expressed their interest in Taiwanese enterprises affected by the recent social disturbances in Dong Nai.
Speaking at the working session, Vice Chairwoman Thanh said that incidents arose during public opposition to China’s illegal acts in Vietnam’s waters, causing damage to not only foreign businesses, but also Vietnamese government and people. Accordingly, Vietnam in general and Dong Nai in particular took timely measures to solve the problem and prevent it from reoccurring, she said, adding that the province has provided all the support it can to help affected businesses resume operations.
Dong Nai also committed to ensure a safe investment environment for foreign investors and encourage them to continue putting their trust on local authorities.
