(ĐN)- There are 200 stations selling gasoline with 5 percent ethanol, known as E5, across the country. Dong Nai has one station, which is located in Street No. 2, Binh Phu hamlet, Long Tan commune, Nhon Trach district.
The new kind of petrol is a mixture of 5% bio-ethanol, distilled from cassava, and 95% A92 gasoline to produce E5, E10, E20 bio-fuels. It is said to help save fuel,prolong engine life and reduce exhaust fumes such as CO2, HC, which will slow down the climate change.
Under a plan approved by the government, from December only gasoline with 5 percent ethanol will be used in seven big cities and provinces. From December 2015 it will be the only fuel sold nationwide.
