Dong Nai is now home to 31 industrial parks, attracting US$22 billion of investment from 36 countries and territories. Dong Nai attracted US$1.6 billion of foreign direct investment in 2013 and over US$800 million in the first six months of 2014. Presently, Dong Nai is giving priorities in attracting hi-tech, support industry and agricultural projects.
Dong Nai is also one of the country’s leading provinces in production of coffee, pepper and rubber. Dong Nai is currently calling for investment in two local hi-tech agricultural zones.
Mr Thomas Loidl said that the working visit aimed to further tighten the relationship and eye investment opportunities in the province.
