General and Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang made the commitment to Thailand’s Amata Group President Vikrom Kromadit at a reception in Hanoi on May 15.
At the meeting, Minister Quang highlighted the Amata Group’s large investment in Vietnam, stating it significantly contributes to strengthening the Vietnam-Thailand strategic partnership.
He said he hopes that Amata will continue expanding its investment projects in Vietnam.
Regarding the incidents in Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ha Tinh and Ho Chi Minh City over the past few days, Quang expressed sympathy for the damaged organizations and businesses while emphasizing Vietnamese designated agencies will intensify measures to ensure security and safety.
All violations of FDI organizations and enterprises in Vietnam, in terms of the people and assets, will be investigated and prosecuted strictly under the law, he added.
The Thai guest briefed Quang on his group’s investment accomplishments in Vietnam over the past two decades and praised the Ministry of Public Security for facilitating Amata’s investment activities.
The Amata group will continue developing investment projects in Quang Ninh aiming to improve the efficiency of Thailand’s investment cooperation in Vietnam, Vikrom Kromadit said.
