Construction of bridge connecting Dong Nai and HCMC to start in late June

(ĐN)- According to the Ben Luc-Long Thanh expressway project's management board, construction package of Phuoc Khanh suspension bridge on the expressway, which crosses the Long Tau River and connects Nha Be district in HCMC and Dong Nai province's Nhon Trach district is expected to start in late June this year.

(ĐN)- According to the Ben Luc-Long Thanh expressway project’s management board, construction package of Phuoc Khanh suspension bridge on the expressway, which crosses the Long Tau River and connects Nha Be district in HCMC and Dong Nai province’s Nhon Trach district is expected to start in late June this year.

Another Binh Khanh suspension bridge will later start construction, which crosses the Soai Rap River and connects Can Gio and Nha Be districts in HCMC.

These are the two biggest bridges of the expressway project which is invested by the Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC).

The Ben Luc-Long Thanh expressway project has total length of 57.8 kilometres, running through Long An province, HCM City and Dong Nai province.

The expressway will be built under expressway standard-Level A with designed speed of 120 km/h.

The Ben Luc-Long Thanh expressway has eight lanes in the designing map. However, in the first phase, it will be built with four lanes at the total investment capital of $1.61 billion.
