(ĐN)- Xuan Loc district over the past five years has allocated thousands of billion of dong in the construction of new rural areas, said Secretary Nguyen Minh Nhat of the district’s Party Committe.
Of the total, local residents contributed more than 55 billion worth of 69.6 hectares of land and 172,000 workdays.
Among 14 communes under the new rural area programme, 7 communes have achieved all the 19 criteria, and seven others are expected to follow suit by the end of this year.
