According to plan, the Steering Committee 127 will continue to implement tough measures to combat smuggling, counterfeiting and illegal trade. Besides, the committee will coordinate with relevant agencies, including police, market managers, and custom agents to increase their operational efficiency in preventing trade fraud and controlling the market in coming time.
In 2013, around 9,000 cases of smuggling, fake goods and trade fraud have been investigated, more than 8,000 of them dealt with and fined a total of approximately VND784 billion, according to the Steering Committee 127.
