(ĐN) - Dong Nai’s enterprises imported more than 503,000 tons of corn in the first four months, two and a half times as much as the same period last year
The increase of the corn import was due to the sharp fall in the global price of corn with US$272 per ton, and there are a lot of big animal feed producers in the province which need large quantities of corn to produce their products.
According to the local importers, Dong Nai’s corn has the better quality than the import one. However, they have to import large amount of corn due to a lack of supply.
