For achieving the figure, the sector had focused on cooperating with the media to raise people’s awareness of conserving electricity.
In 2014, the province will continue implementing the modernisation of its electricity transmission network to ensure safe and effective power use.
Power saving programs will be launched to raise public awareness about the importance of saving electricity.
Dong Nai plans to save 2.1 percent of total consumed power in the province this year.
