Vice Chairwoman Phan Thi My Thanh of the provincial People’s Committee attended the inauguration ceremony.
The factory was constructed on an area of 30 hectares with a total investment of US$10 million, specializing in manufacturing chemicals, liquid additives, cosmetics and animal feed. It will begin operating in early May.
Earlier, the first plant of Japan’s Mitani Sangyo Group was opened in Long Binh Industrial Park in Bien Hoa city.
As known, the province has so far attracted 1,409 FDI projects capitalised at nearly US$25 billion.
Japan now ranks fourth among 40 nations and territories investing in Dong Nai with 173 projects worth over US$2.9 billion.
