500 breeders to receive VietGAHP cetificates

(ĐN)- Livestock Competitiveness and Food Safety Project (LIFSAP) Management Board will cooperate with relevant agencies to make the evaluation to grant VietGAHP (Vietnamese Good Animal Husbandry Practices) certificates to 500 animal husbandry households in Dong Nai in 2014.

(ĐN)- Livestock Competitiveness and Food Safety Project (LIFSAP) Management Board will cooperate with relevant agencies to make the evaluation to grant VietGAHP (Vietnamese Good Animal Husbandry Practices) certificates to 500 animal husbandry households in Dong Nai in 2014.

So far, 78 local breeding households received VietGAHP certificates.

Dong Nai launched Good Animal Husbandry Practice (GAHP) measures in three pilot localities of Xuan Loc, Thong Nhat and Long Khanh. Around 1,047 breeders participated in the project.

The project aims to help breeders boost family-based production as well as improve food hygiene and safety in processing and supply of animals and poultry.
