(ĐN)- Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee on Thursday warmly welcomed the U.S Consul General in HCM city Rena Bitter on the occasion of her courtesy visit to the province.

The Consul General highly appreciated Dong Nai’s efforts to improve FDI attraction. She also expressed her interests in the construction of Long Thanh International Airport, human resources and training cooperation between the universities in the U.S and in Dong Nai.
The same day, Ms. Rena Bitter also paid her courtesy visit to Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh of the provincial Party Committee.

At the reception, Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh informed her some issues that are taking the Dong Nai’s interests such as promoting the quality of water treatment systems, social security, Orange/dioxin clearance at Bien Hoa airport, etc.
Relating to the Orange/dioxin clearance issue, the Consul General told the secretary that the U.S will send delegation to work with the province on the Orange/dioxin clearance project and the issue also draw the interest of the U.S Government.
