(ĐN)- Local banks as of end-March reported credit growth of 2.98% compared to the end of last year, according to Dong Nai Branch of the State Bank of Vietnam.
Credits in Vietnam dong grew by 3.26% while those in foreign currency up 1.73%.
Accordingly, the banks’ loan turnover was estimated at approximately VND83 trillion. Short-term loans increased 2.28% while medium and long-term ones rose 4.14%.
Up to the end of March, the local banks mobilized more than VND95.8 trillion in deposits, up 2.1% compared to the end of last year.
