The avian flu pandemic threat has pushed up pork consumption in Dong Nai, resulting in higher prices at local markets, said Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Livestock Association Nguyen Kim Doan.
At the market, pork prices have seen an increase of VND3,000-5,000 per kilogram and the tendency will continue in the time to come.
