(ĐN)- Over 11,000 tonnes of sugar cane in Farm No.1 in Gia Canh commune were destroyed by fires, the biggest figure so far this year.
Hot and dry weather have created favourable conditions for the fires to spread and destroy more than 300 hectares of sugarcane in recent time, causing heavy losses for sugarcane growers.
