He was welcomed by Vice Chairman Tran Minh Phuc of the provincial People’s Committee.
At the meeting, the Consul General told the province’s leader that the German economy is mainly dependent on small- and medium-sized enterprises which contribute a large amount of taxes to the country.
These enterprises are cautious about pouring their money for foreign investment and they are highly interested in the business environment that is safe, firm and has clear legal framework.
He also cited the reason that there are not many German-invested projects in the province is due to the long geographical distance and lack of the information about the province’s business environment, adding that he would like to serve as a bridge for German firms’ investments in Dong Nai.
So far, there are eight enterprises operating their businesses in the province.
