According to the province's Statistics Office, pottery and ceramics export saw the highest growth among the other exported commodities in the period, with an annual increase of 26.5%.
Dong Nai, one of the country's leading provinces in pottery and ceramics exports, is home to nearly 50 pottery and ceramics exporters. The province's pottery and ceramics products include two types which are being used in fine arts and building materials.
Nguyen Viet Binh, Chairman of Dong Nai Art Pottery Association, said the ceramics sector had recovered last year as pottery producers had received more export contacts than in previous years.
