Over 20,800 ha of coffee grown in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- Dong Nai so far has had more than 20,800 hectares of land under coffee, 1,500 ha higher than in early 2013.

Of the figure, 18,200 ha of coffee are in harvest time with an average yield of around 1.9 tons per ha.

Coffee is mainly grown in Long Khanh town, Cam My, Xuan Loc and districts.

Statistics from the provincial Statistics Office showed that the province shipped abroad more than 14,300 tons of coffee in January, up nearly 23% against the same period in 2013.
