(ĐN)- Pegasus-Shimamoto Auto Parts Vietnam Company on February 17 held a ceremony to inaugurate its factory in Long Thanh district.

The ceremony was attended by Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai.
The $20 million plant, which covers an area of 2 hectares in Long Duc industrial park, specializes in manufacturing die casting products, and other parts and components used for automotive, motorbike and industrial purposes such as safety belts.

Pegasus-Shimamoto Auto Parts Vietnam, a joint venture between Japanese Pegasus and Shimamoto Groups, is expected to produce about 58 million products every year. In the first few years, its products will be exported to Thailand and Japan.
