In 2013, Donagamex obtained a total revenue of VND1,120 billion, an annual increase of 20%, earning a profit of VND50 billion. The average monthly salary of its laborers rose by 10% from the previous year.
Donagamex will strive to reach a total revenue of VND1,400-1,500 billion in 2014.
The corp has reportedly received enough orders for production through the end of the third quarter this year.
Deputy Minister Ho Thi Kim Thoa highly praised the achievements made by the corp despite of the last year economic difficulties.
Founded in 1975, Donagamex, an affiliate of the Viet Nam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) has achieved an annual average growth rate of over 25% over the past years. It is one of five most outstanding enterprises of Vinatex.
The corp is now home to nearly 4,000 laborers, six factories and 8 companies.
