It envisages increasing the capacity of cake and candy production facilities to nearly 400,000 tonnes a year.
New ones will be set up in Quang Ninh or Hai Phong in the Northern Key Economic Region, Quang Ngai or Binh Dinh in the central region, and Can Tho or Ben Tre and Dong Nai or Tay Ninh in the south.
Quang Ngai and Dong Nai will each get a monosodium glutamate factory with a capacity of nearly 100,000 tonnes a year.
