Earlier, in October 2013, Dong Nai signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Japan’s Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU) on cooperation in promoting investment in the province.
Under the MoU, the two sides will exchange information and work together to organise seminars on investment in Dong Nai and meetings with potential investors in Japan.
At the working session, the two sides agreed to exchange information on policies and laws that investors need to know about as well as investment proposals.
They will also promote activities reflecting the close relations between Dong Nai and Japan in general and the bank in particular.
The DIZA’s representative hoped that in addition to investment in industry, Dong Nai will be able to attract the Japanese investors in agricultural projects.
The two sides plan to jointly organise a seminar with investors in Japan this November.
