(ĐN)- The 2014 spring flower market officially opened at Dong Nai Conference Centre on January 23 (23rd day of the 12th lunar month) with around 190 pavilions showing hundreds of flowers from central and southwestern provinces.
The market features hundreds of flowers such as carnations, daisies, peonies, orchids, cacti, bonsai trees, ornamental plants.
This year, the prices of flowers have risen by 10-20 percent as a consequence of weather changes and higher costs in caring and transport.
This year’s Dong Nai flower market does not offer as many golden apricot flowers as in the previous year.
The annual festival is a traditional, cultural activity in Dong Nai province. It is expected to attract thousands of visitors.
It will last until January 30 (30th day of the 12th lunar month).
