(ĐN)- Tri An-Bien Hoa sugar factory has recently kicked off its production in 2013-2014 period.
Accordingly, the factory will process 24,400 tonnes of sugar from 280,000 tonnes of sugar canes.
The factory has invested around VND50 billion for upgrade its facilities and provided financial support of more than VND100 billion to sugarcane growers in the province to develop sugarcane raw material zones.
Despite the low price of sugar, the factory still bought sugar cane at more than VND850,000 a ton of 10 CCS cane in this crop, down VND50,000 compared the previous crop.
