(ĐN)- Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of Dong Nai provincial People's Committee on December 16 welcomed newly-appointed Chinese Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Chai Wenrui, who paid a working visit to Dong Nai.

In his speech at the reception, Chai Wenrui said Chinese Consulate General has close relationships with Dong Nai, adding the Consulate General has received numerous support from the province.

He highly appreciated the economic development of Dong Nai over the past time. Chinese companies have been receiving support from Dong Nai province’s authorities to increase investment in the province.

He also believed Vietnam-China relations will continue to develop. Accordingly, China will increase investment in Vietnam, especially in Dong Nai.

He also expressed his wishes to promote the cooperation relations between Dong Nai and Chinese localities and pledged to serve as a bridge for Chinese firms’ investments in Dong Nai.

For his part, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai highly praised long-standing cooperation relations between Vietnam and China. He hoped that in the Consul General’s new term, the two sides will maintain the bilateral ties, contributing to the economic development of Dong Nai and China.
