Outstanding loans up over 12%

(ĐN)- Over the last 11 months, total outstanding loans in Dong Nai-based commercial banks and credit organizations accounted more thanVND75.8 trillion, jumped 12.11% against the end of 2012, said Dong Nai Branch of the State Bank of Vietnam.

(ĐN)- Over the last 11 months, total outstanding loans in Dong Nai-based commercial banks and credit organizations accounted more thanVND75.8 trillion, jumped 12.11% against the end of 2012, said Dong Nai Branch of the State Bank of Vietnam.

Accordingly, short-term loans increased 7% while medium and long-term ones rose 22%.

In this period, the banks raised more than VND87.8 trillion in deposits, up 10.9% against the end of previous year.

In particular, deposits from economic organizations rose by 6.56% compared to the beginning of the year, while those from individuals jumped 13.4%.

The bad debts of third, fourth and fifth groups were VND2.125 trillion, representing 2.88% of total outstanding balances of the banking sector, increased 0.52% over the beginning of this year.

Accordingly, the fifth-group debts stood at VND1.24 trillion, accounted for 1.69 percent of total loans, an increase of 0.42%.
