Vice Chairwoman Phan Thi My Thanh of the provincial People’ Committee received the delegation.
The Japanese businesses wished to find opportunities to invest in the form of public–private partnership (PPP) model.
At the meeting, the delegation was presented the province’s key projects, including a central road through Bien Hoa city, a road running alongside the city’s Cai River, and a road connecting ports in Nhon Trach district.
Mr Harumitsu Takahashi and the businesses praised the opportunities to invest in the form of PPP model in Dong Nai and hoped to be updated on the locality’s economic situation, incentives and planned projects, adding they will introduce Dong Nai to their fellow investors in Japan .
Vice Chairwoman Phan Thi My Thanh stressed that Japan is the third largest investor in the province at present. Dong Nai is keen on attracting investment in infrastructure, particularly transport, and will create favorable conditions for construction investors, she added.
On the same day, the delegation paid working visits to Long Thanh international airport project and the Japan-invested Long Duc industrial park in Long Thanh district.
