(ĐN)- Dong Nai exported nearly 2,600 tonnes of honey in the last eleven months of this year, a surge of 100 tonnes compared to the same period last year, according to the provincial Statistic Department.
Honey and pepper are Dong Nai’s two major agricultural products which have seen a sharp rise in export volume and value.
Bee breeding has developed strongly in the province. Currently, there are almost 50,000 bee hives in the province and the total annual honey yield from these hives is nearly 1,000 tonnes.
