The figured was released at the recent meeting of Enterprises’ Innovation and Development Committee chaired by Vice Chairman Tran Minh Phuc of People’s Committee.
In the period, the enterprises created jobs for 18,038 laborers, representing 96% of the whole year’s plan, decreased 11.8% compared to the same period last year. Their employees each earned an average monthly income of over VND6 million, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%.
Vice Chairman Tran Minh Phuc acknowledged the achievements made by companies in the current economic downturn hoped that they will continue their efforts to fulfill the year’s set targets.
