The 7,200-square-meter plant will initially produce retort food including pasta sauce for the Japanese market and aim to develop markets in Asian countries in the future.
The US$28.5 plant is scheduled to put into operation in August 2014 with the initial production capacity of 10,000 tons of sauce per year.
Nisshin Seifun Vietnam is a subsidiary of Nisshin Seifun Group, which engages in the food business.It operates through the following segments: flour milling, processed food, and other.The holding company was founded in October 1900 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
