52 VietGAHP groups set up in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- The Livestock Competitiveness and Food Safety Project (LIFSAP) on November 13 held a seminar to introduce good animal husbandry practice (VietGAHP) model.

More than 100 animal husbandry households, representatives of the related sectors and localities across the province attended the seminar which aims to improve husbandry products in all three stages — production, processing and consumption.

The project encompasses investment in breeding infrastructure, animal feed, breedstock, competitive production, animal hygiene, animal-disease control, and construction of slaughterhouses.

Dong Nai has piloted GAHP areas in Long Khanh town, Xuan Loc and Thong Nhat districts. So far, 52 GAHP groups with 1,042 breeding households have been set up in these places.
