The 500 kV Vinh Tan-Song May transmission line has a total length of 66 kilometres passing through Long Khanh town, Xuan Loc, Thong Nhat, Trang Bom and Vinh Cuu districts in the province.
The new power line is expected to provide adequate supply for southern provinces as well as improve the efficiency of the national power grid in the area.
