(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment said that a waste treatment plant at Tuc Trung Waste Treatment Zone in Dinh Quan district has been put into operation since early Ocotober.
So far, seven out of nine planned waste treatment zones has begun operation with the combine daily capacity of 100 tons of household garbage and 110 tons of hazardous garbage.
The province is deploying the projects of two waste treatment zones in Vinh Cuu district’s Vinh Tan commune and Long Thanh district’s Bau Can commune which are estimated to put into operation in December.
Once put into operation, the plants at nine waste treatment zones will treat and recycle daily garbage, contributing to increase the ratio of the hygienic treated garbage in the province.
