(ĐN)- On October 7, Belmont Manufacturing Limited Company, a subsidiary of Japan’s Takara Belmont Group, held a ceremony to inaugurate its factory in Long Thanh district.
The ceremony was attended by Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Phan Thi My Thanh.
The $9 million plant, which covers an area of 10 hectares in Long Duc industrial park (IP), specializes in producing equipment and chairs used in dentistry.
Long Duc industrial zone so far has attracted 16 projects, of which 15 belong to Japanese investors with a total capital of 617 million USD.
Vice Chairwoman Phan Thi My Thanh said that the province’s 31 industrial zones have to date attracted more than 1,200 projects, including 900 foreign-invested ones from 39 countries and territories.
In the first nine months of this year, Dong Nai attracted 28 Japanese businesses with a total investment of more than 200 million USD, accounting for 70 percent of the province’s total investment capital.
Dong Nai also pledges to create all favourable conditions for businesses to operate effectively in the province.
