Outstanding loans up 8.24%

ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Branch of the State Bank of Vietnam, total outstanding loans in the province-based commercial banks and credit organizations accounted for over VND73.2 trillion as of end-September, jumped 8.24% against the end of 2012.

(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Branch of the State Bank of Vietnam, total outstanding loans in the province-based commercial banks and credit organizations accounted for over VND73.2 trillion as of end-September, jumped 8.24% against the end of 2012.

In Jan-September, loans in Vietnam dong increased by over 13% while foreign currency loans decreased by 9% over the beginning of the year.In particular, short-term loans increased 6.51% while medium and long-term ones rose 11.6%.

Over the past nine months, the banks raised more than VND95.8 trillion in deposits, up 8.39% against the end of previous year.

Accordingly, deposits from economic organizations saw a slightly increase with 3.19% compared to the beginning of the year, while those from individuals jumped nearly 11.4%
