The event was attended by Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai and Vice Chairman Tran Minh Phuc of the provincial People’s Committee, Vice Chairwoman Huynh Thi Nga of the provincial People’s Council and representatives of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
The honorees have achieved eminent results in production and trade, made great contributions to the State budget and actively taken part in social activities in the 2010-2012 period.
On this occasion, 10 typical businesspersons were awarded certificates of merit of VCCI.
Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chairman Tran Minh Phuc emphasized the important role of the enterprises and businesspersons in province’s economic development.
He suggested the honorees to promote their active role and potential in develop their business, expand the investment, create more jobs, improve the product quality and elevate Vietnam’s position in the international arena.
Presently, the province is home to over 17,000 enterprises with total registered capital of nearly VND13 trillion, which have accounted for 76% trillions of the province’s State budget collection and 99% of the industrial production value and created jobs for thousands of laborers.
