Since the beginning of the year, the province licensed 57 new projects with total registered capital of nearly US$386 million, while 53 existing projects were allowed to add a combined 515 million USD to their investment.
In the period, Vietnam attracted more than US$15 billion of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first nine months of this year, an increase of 36.1 percent year-on-year, the Ministry of Planning and Investment reported.
Of the figure, nearly $9.3 billion was poured into 872 newly-licenced projects, a yearly increase of 34.9 percent, while the rest $5.7 billion was added to 340 existing projects, up 37.9 percent.
