(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s consumer price index (CPI) in September rose 0.63 percent against the previous month, according to report from the provincial Department of Industry and Trade.
The rise was due to the price hike in the group of foodstuff and the higher school fees in the 2013-2014 school year as well as the recent 5% price rise of electricity.
The group of food and catering services has the highest price rise with 1.29%, followed by housing and building materials with 1.16% and garment with 0.08%.
While transport services and the post and telecommunications saw a slight increase of the September index against last month’s figure with 0.27 % and 0.14%, respectively.
