The rise was due to the price hike in the group of foodstuff and the higher school fees in the 2013-2014 school year as well as the recent 5% price rise of electricity.
The group of food and catering services has the highest price rise with 1.29%, followed by housing and building materials with 1.16% and garment with 0.08%.
While transport services and the post and telecommunications saw a slight increase of the September index against last month’s figure with 0.27 % and 0.14%, respectively.
