(ĐN)- Bad debts and overdue debts at credit organizations in Dong Nai province estimated at nearly VND3.9 trillion at the end of August, accounting for 5.2 percent of total loans and down 0.12% compared to late last year, reported Dong Nai Branch of State Bank.
The bad debts of third, fourth and fifth groups were over VND2.2 trillion, representing 3.1% of total outstanding balances of the banking sector, rose 0.71% over the beginning of this year.
Besides, the fifth-group debts stood at more than VND1.1 trillion, making up 1.6 percent of total loans, an increase of 0.25%.
From now to the end of this year, the branch will continue efforts to cut the bad-debt ratio to under 3 percent.
