Song May - Tan Dinh new line connected to national power grid

The Electricity of Vietnam's National Power Transmission Corporation successfully connected the 500kV Song May - Tan Dinh power line to the national grid on August 24.

The VND260 billion (US$12.2 million) line has a total length of 40 kilometres running through two southern provinces of Dong Nai and Binh Duong.

.Along with the 500kV Phu My-Song May power line that passes through Dong Nai and Ba Ria-Vung Tau provinces, the Song May-Tan Dinh line is expected to enhance the transmission capacity of the Phu My Thermal Power Centre as well as increase the flexibility and reliability of 500kV power line system in southern provinces.
