Under the new pricing scheme, the electricity price will range from VND993 per kWh to VND2,420 per kWh for local households.
The retail price of electricity for the first 50 kWh for low-income households remains unchanged at VND933 per kWh.
The electricity price is adjusted to to compensate for higher input costs, including prices for coal and gas.
