It is different with a number of other farm items, whose price drops hit exports, such as coffee, honey and rubber.
The average pepper export price stood at over US$6,500 a ton in the first seven months.
Dong Nai now has more than 8,000 hectares under pepper cultivation, ranking third in the country. Of which, around 7,300 hectares are in harvest time with a total annual yield of over 15,000 tons.
