At the seminar, the province will focus on land clearance, resettlement and providing jobs for households forced to move by site clearance for the project.
As known, Long Thanh Airport will cover 5,000 hectares, encompassing the communes of Long Phuoc, Bau Can, Long An, Binh Son, Suoi Trau and Cam Duong in Long Thanh District. Nearly 5,400 households with over 17,000 people will have to relocate to serve the development of the airport project.
The airport is expected to start construction in 2015.
