(ĐN)- The price of coffee beans in Dong Nai province is at VND39,000 per kilo at present,VND1,000 higher than in June last year.
The rise is due to the Government’s approval to extend the lending period of loans to help troubled coffee exporters.
Besides, the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association plans to buy 200,000-300,000 tons of coffee beans for storing purposes
Since the beginning this year, coffee export saw the decline both in value and in volume.
The coffee export market is estimated to face difficulties due to the bumper crops, plentiful supplies from top coffee-growers such as Brazil and Indonesia.
