In Jan-June period, the hotel-restaurant sector showed the strongest growth with 25%, followed by the tourism sector with 21.8% and the services with 21.2%. The trade ministry saw a slight increase of 11.5% due to the low purchasing power caused by economic difficulties.
The non-state sector registered the highest retail sales growth among other economic sectors. It saw a year-on-year increase of 13.9%, while the state-owned grew at 11.4% and foreign-owned sectors rose by 9.6%.
