(ĐN)- The overall retail sales of merchandise goods and services in Dong Nai is estimated to reach more than VND32.8 trillion in the first four months of this year, a 14.7 percent year-on-year increase, according to the Department of Industry and Trade.
Such a growth rate is modest compared to the average of over 20% in previous years as the market is now affected by many factors, including consumption decline.
Total retail sales of goods and services in the year to date have picked up a mere 9%, excluding the price hike factor,
In Jan-April period, the hotel-restaurant sector showed the strongest growth with over 22% while the figure was nearly 13% for trade.
