In 2011-2012 period, Dong Nai has spent nearly VND2,600 billion for building new rural areas in 136 communes. Of the total, nearly VND84 billion came from central budget, over VND2,200 billion from provincial budget, and around VND292 billion from local enterprises and people.
Over the past two years, despite facing a lot of difficulties, the province’s agricultural production value still maintained a year-on-year increase of over 3%. To achieve these results, the local farmers have made efforts to restructure plant crops, applied advance cultivation techniques to increase plant productivity and quality.
