(ĐN) - Dong Nai Branch of the State Bank of Vietnam said that the province-based commercial banks and credit organizations lent nearly VND80 trillion in the first five months of the year, an increase of 6% from early this year.
(ĐN) - Dong Nai Branch of the State Bank of Vietnam said that the province-based commercial banks and credit organizations lent nearly VND80 trillion in the first five months of the year, an increase of 6% from early this year. Of which, short-term loans increased 5.26% , medium and long-term ones rose 2.99%,
Accordingly, loans in VND grew by 9% while foreign currency loans down by 4%.
As of end-May, the local banks mobilized approximately VND84.5 trillion in deposits, up 6.57% against the end of previous year.
Particularly, deposits from individuals increased 12.8% compared to the beginning of the year, while those from economic organizations decreased 6.28%.
