(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Branch of State Bank, credit organizations in Dong Nai have reduced the lending interest rates in a bid to provide enterprises with easier access to finance.
Presently, many local banks are offering loans at the interest rate of less than 12 percent per annum; the figure accounted for 55.4% of total loans while interest rates of 12-15 percent made up 32.7% and interest rates at above 15 percent represented only 11.9% of total outstanding balances.
Recently, Vietcombank has lowered deposit and lending interest rates by 1-1.5% each in an effort to boost the lending.
Other banks, BIDV, Agribank and Vietinbank, have also cut the dong deposit interest rate to 6-6.8% per annum with terms from one to 12 months.
